This operating system is a freshly installed Windows XP Pro/with SP2. Is it possible that the sound card is interfering with the Dazzle device input? It is not present if the sound card is selected. Also there is some interferance noise that can be heard when the sound input is set to the Dazzle device. The sound is a lot more choppy when I turned the acceleration all the way down.

However when I press play on the VCR the screen does not show the movie that is playing but remains blue. When I first turn the VCR on the startup display of the VCR is shown in the blue screen window. When I turn the VCR player the screen changes from black to blue. Should I go to the Pinnacle site and download and install their drivers? If so which drivers do I need? The Dazzle device drivers that I installed when I updated were from Roxio.

The Video does not record at all in fact it is not even displayed on the screen. The sound is very choppy with parts of it missing. I have configured the device for the composite Video connections and the only thing that it is able to pick up and record is the sound. I have a VCR connected to the DVC90 by the composite Video connections. Windows now recognizes the device but it is not working correctly.
I fixed this problem when I downloaded and installed the DVC90.zip patch. At first when I connected the Dazzle to the computer Windows XP did not recognize the device. I have installed the latest driver for the NVidia GeForce 6150LE Video and the latest driver for the Realtek High Definition Sound. I have installed Easy Media Creator 9 Deluxe on a HP Pavilion A1730N running Windows XP.
